广州应用科技学院国际教育学院成立于2023年，现有学生近1000人，开设了含人力资源管理、会计学、财务管理、市场营销、视觉传达设计、广告学、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、英语、新闻学等22个本科国际班专业。学校与美国、英国、澳大利亚、马来西亚等国多所知名大学建立合作关系，共同开展多种形式的国际教育项目，以本科与硕士连贯培养的国际教育模式，满足学生多样化的求学需求，是广东省最具国际化的本科院校之一。

师资力量：国际教育学院拥有一支专业的IELTS（雅思）教学团队，由具有海外留学背景的教师和母语为英语的外籍教师组成。师资力量雄厚、硕士及以上学历教师比例达到100%。开设英语口语、批判性思维、跨文化交际等语言课程，夯实学生的外语语言基础，提高语言交际能力，培养学生依托专业从事国际相关领域的素质和能力。

学科与专业优势：标准学制为4年。学生修完3+M学士学位课程人才培养计划规定的课程，达到毕业要求，准予毕业。符合学位授予条件的，分别授予广州应用科技学院学士学位和国外合作大学硕士学位。国际教育学院实行小班制教学，教学设备优越，配备智慧教室、视频教室、同步传输室等教学资源。学院2025年通过英国高等教育质量保证署(The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education)认证。

国际化办学水平：学院与海外100多所大学建立了联合培养的合作关系，目前已有多名学生申请到世界知名学府深造。学院与新东方合作，设立雅思联合培训中心，提供雅思强化训练；设立留学服务中心，提供一对一的留学规划及一站式留学申请服务。中心升学指导教师根据学生的学习成绩、雅思（IELTS）成绩、学术背景等条件个性化地推荐QS世界排名前200的顶尖学府，实现弯道超车。

The International Education College (IEC) of Guangzhou Institute of Applied Science and Technology was established in 2023 and currently enrolls approximately 1,000 students. It offers 22 undergraduate international programs in disciplines including Human Resource Management, Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing, Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, English, Journalism, among others. The college has established partnerships with several renowned universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, and other countries to deliver various forms of international education programs. Through an integrated undergraduate-to-master's educational model, it meets the diverse academic needs of students, making it one of Guangdong Province’s most internationalized undergraduate institutions.

Faculty Profile: IEC boasts a professional IELTS teaching team composed of instructors with overseas academic backgrounds and native English-speaking foreign teachers. The faculty is highly qualified, with 100% holding master’s degrees or higher. The college offers language enhancement courses such as Oral English, Critical Thinking, and Intercultural Communication to strengthen students’ foreign language proficiency, improve communicative competence, and cultivate the qualities and abilities needed to engage in internationally oriented professions.

Academic and Program Strengths: The standard duration of study is four years. Upon completing the curriculum specified in the 3+Master’s bachelor’s degree program and meeting graduation requirements, students will be granted graduation. Those fulfilling degree-awarding criteria will receive a bachelor’s degree from Guangzhou Institute of Applied Science and Technology and a master’s degree from the partnered overseas university. IEC adopts small-class teaching with state-of-the-art facilities, including smart classrooms, video classrooms, and synchronous transmission rooms. The college is set to obtain accreditation from the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in 2025.

Internationalization Level: The college has established joint education collaborations with over 100 overseas universities, and many students have been admitted to world-renowned institutions for further studies. In partnership with New Oriental, IEC has set up a joint IELTS training center to provide intensive IELTS preparation, as well as a study abroad service center offering personalized planning and one-stop application services. Based on students’ academic records, IELTS scores, and backgrounds, counselors recommend top universities ranked within the top 200 of the QS World University Rankings to help students achieve competitive advancement.

Industry-Academia Collaboration & Practice Bases: Through the joint IELTS training center established with New Oriental Education & Technology Group, IEC offers specialized and systematic IELTS training and intercultural communication skill development, helping students broaden their international perspective and enhance competitiveness for further studies and employment.

Signature College Activities: Representatives from partner universities (e.g., institutions in the UK, US, Australia, Canada) are invited to present on study abroad programs, exchange student plans, and short-term study tours. Academic planning guidance is provided to familiarize students with overseas study and life. Activities such as English speech contests, debate competitions, foreign language dubbing competitions, and business English practice matches are organized to improve students’ language application skills and intercultural confidence. International academic lectures and workshops are held with overseas professors and industry experts sharing cutting-edge research and career development insights in fields such as artificial intelligence, international trade, and cross-cultural management.

Extended Activities: Academic support includes research paper guidance and training for publishing in international journals. Students are organized to participate in short-term courses, cultural visits, or academic summer camps at partner universities, enabling them to experience overseas teaching modes, accumulate academic experience, and strengthen their applications for further studies.

Student (Team) Competition Honors & Awards: Students have won awards in national/provincial English speech contests, debate competitions, cross-cultural communication competitions, and English writing skill competitions (e.g., National College English Competition, “SFLEP Cup” National Intercultural Competence Contest, “21st Century Cup” English Speech Contest). Students have also been recognized as “Outstanding Participants” or received academic scholarships during exchange or summer programs at partner institutions abroad.
